As an HR Case Manager, you'll support the Employee Relations Manager, providing comprehensive case management across various issues.

Gain experience in a fast-paced, unionised setting with established policies throughout the employee lifecycle.

Key duties

  • Manage first-line Case Management (e. g., Discipline, Grievance, Absence).
  • Handle long and short-term absence, involving all stakeholders.
  • Liaise with occupational health for employee decisions and return-to-work cases.
  • Work with management to improve people management and performance.
  • Suggest solutions to enhance case management standards.
  • Oversee restructuring within units, ensuring legal compliance.
  • Collaborate with legal advisors and ACAS for relevant processes.

Skills and experience

  • 4+ years of HR experience with strong employee relations experience.
  • Knowledge of current employment legislation.
  • Ability to deliver professional support under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Understanding of HR policies, procedures, and collective agreements.
  • Experience with HR systems/databases.
  • CIPD Qualified or equivalent degree.
