We are currently recruiting for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join an Ipswich based business on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong numerical skills and a keen eye for accuracy.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing purchase and sales invoices
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and data entry
  • Assisting with bank reconciliations
  • Processing supplier payments and customer receipts
  • Resolving invoice queries and liaising with suppliers and customers
  • Assisting with payroll administration where required
  • Filing and maintaining financial documentation
  • Providing general administrative support to the finance department

Key Skills:

  • Currently studying towards AAT would be advantageous
  • Previous experience in an accounts or finance administration role
  • Good understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
