Agilis Search are proud to be partnering with a prestigious school in Ipswich, with the recruitment of a Director of HR position. In this pivotal role, the Director of HR will oversee employee relations casework, support senior management in shaping the school’s culture, and ensure staff feel part of a warm and welcoming community. The HR team includes a Payroll Manager, HR Administrator, and a newly created HR & Payroll Officer position. Regular interaction with other support staff directors and academic leadership teams will be essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Staff Development/Engagement: Manage performance and development needs of all staff.
- Staff Recruitment: Ensure compliance with employment law, Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidance, and regulatory frameworks.

Person Specification
- Minimum Level 5 CIPD qualification
