The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Interim HR Systems Implementation Consultant to support the implementation of a new HR system within a growing and evolving organisation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on consultant with a strong background in HR technology, systems implementation and process improvement. You will work closely with HR, IT and key business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery, from initial requirements gathering through to testing, go-live and post-implementation support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the implementation of a new HR system, ensuring delivery against agreed timelines and objectives.
- Gather business requirements and translate HR processes into effective system solutions.
- Work closely with HR, IT, payroll and external implementation partners.
- Support system configuration, data migration, data cleansing and validation.
- Manage user acceptance testing (UAT), issue resolution and implementation readiness.
- Develop process documentation, user guides and training materials.
- Support stakeholder engagement, communications and change management activities.
- Ensure the system integrates effectively with payroll, recruitment and other relevant business applications.
- Monitor implementation milestones, risks, dependencies and project deliverables.
- Provide go-live support and ensure a smooth transition into business-as-usual operations.
About You
You will have:
- Proven experience implementing HR systems or HRIS platforms in a project or consultancy capacity.
- Hands-on experience with one or more HR systems, such as Workday, Personio, BambooHR, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, Dayforce or CIPHR.
- Strong knowledge of core HR processes, employee lifecycle management and HR data.
- Experience managing data migration, system testing, configuration and implementation delivery.
- The ability to work autonomously in an interim environment and deliver against tight deadlines.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
The Assignment
This is a hands-on interim assignment suited to a consultant who can quickly understand business requirements, take ownership of HR systems implementation activities and deliver a successful outcome.
