An established and growing logistics business is seeking a highly organised
Fleet Administrator to join its busy transport team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administrator looking to develop their career within fleet, transport or logistics operations.
Reporting to the Fleet Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day administration of a large fleet operation, ensuring vehicle records, compliance documentation and maintenance schedules are accurately maintained and up to date.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records for company vehicles, trailers and fleet assets.
- Monitor MOTs, servicing schedules, inspections, tax and insurance requirements.
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Process purchase orders, invoices and fleet-related expenditure.
- Maintain records of vehicle defects, repairs and maintenance history.
- Support driver licence checks and fleet compliance administration.
- Ensure all compliance documentation is maintained in line with regulatory requirements.
- Investigate and assist with vehicle damage, incidents and insurance claims.
- Update fleet management systems and transport databases.
- Respond to fleet-related enquiries via telephone and email.
- Provide general administrative support to the wider transport operation.
About You
- Previous administration experience, ideally within transport, logistics, fleet or a similar operational environment.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proactive, reliable and able to work effectively under pressure.
- A team player with a flexible and professional approach.
Desirable Experience
- Fleet or transport administration experience.
- Knowledge of Operator Licence compliance requirements.
- Understanding of vehicle maintenance processes.
