Agilis Search is partnering with a well-established organisation in Colchester seeking an experienced
Employee Relations Manager to join their HR team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ER professional who enjoys managing a varied caseload, providing practical advice to managers, and supporting a positive employee experience across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert Employee Relations advice and guidance to managers.
- Manage a broad range of ER cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, organisational change, redundancy and TUPE.
- Coach managers on employee matters and employment best practice.
- Ensure HR documentation, policies and case records are accurate and compliant.
- Support employment law matters, including ACAS, tribunal preparation and DSARs where required.
- Identify trends and contribute to continuous improvement of HR policies and processes.
- Support HR projects, reporting and manager training.
About You
- Previous Employee Relations experience with the ability to manage complex cases independently.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
