Dynamics 365 F&O Developer

We are supporting a key client in their search for an experienced Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Developer to join their growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions within the D365 F&O platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable systems that improve business processes and drive efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development & Customisation: Design, develop, and customize Dynamics 365 F&O applications, modules, and workflows using X++ and other relevant technologies.
• Solution Design: Collaborate with functional consultants and stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Integrations: Develop and implement integrations between Dynamics 365 F&O and other third-party systems using Azure services, REST APIs, or other integration tools.
• Testing & Deployment: Conduct unit testing, code reviews, and troubleshoot issues to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Performance Optimisation: Identify performance bottlenecks in custom code and propose optimization strategies.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including development processes, system architectures, and technical designs.
• Support: Provide ongoing support and maintenance of Dynamics 365 F&O systems, ensuring smooth operation and addressing any post-implementation issues.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 1+ years of experience developing solutions within Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Strong expertise in X++, C#, .NET, and other relevant programming languages.
• Experience with D365 F&O module customisation, workflow automation, and integrations.

Technical Skills:

• Experience with Power Platform, Logic Apps, Azure DevOps, and LCS.
• Knowledge of SQL Server, SSRS, and data entities for report writing and data extraction is preferable.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems and business processes (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, etc.).
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Certifications: Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O certifications (preferred but not mandatory).
