Agilis Recruitment are currently supporting a client in their search for a Senior Platform Engineer. You will play a key role in designing, building, and evolving a robust analytics hosting platform that supports mission‑critical solutions. In this role, you will develop, test, deploy, and enhance platform capabilities, resolve issues within existing analytics services, and provide hands‑on engineering support to Data Scientists and MLOps teams working across a range of technologies.
You will operate in a dynamic environment with varied and sometimes unfamiliar technical challenges, requiring strong problem‑solving skills, adaptability, and a practical engineering mindset to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure solutions that enable data‑driven outcomes for our client.
What you’ll do:
- Work on high‑impact projects focused on cloud migration and data management.
- Build scalable, secure systems and contribute to the full software development lifecycle.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy a new analytic hosting platform.
- Handle bugfixes and feature requests for existing mission‑facing analytics.
- Provide engineering support to MLOps engineers and Data Scientists.
What we’re looking for:
- Data science and MLOps knowledge.
- Graph database experience (highly desirable).
- Vector store experience (highly desirable).
Please note you will need to hold active eDV clearance to be considered for this role.
