The Role:

As a Relationship Manager, you will play a key role in supporting and growing our Dental Group clients, groups of 8+ practices under common ownership. Working closely with the Head of Dental Groups and the Northern Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for building strong, long-term relationships, onboarding new clients, delivering training, and proactively supporting a portfolio of existing practices to maximise the success of their dental plans. This is a field based role, ideal for someone who enjoys relationship led, consultative work and is confident working directly with dental practice teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end onboarding of new clients, including training and implementation support
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, trends, and performance in Zoho CRM
  • Deliver structured Business Review Meetings, tracking performance, trends, and growth opportunities
  • Set, monitor, and support growth targets, particularly for practices launching plans for the first time or seeking to expand their patient base
  • Deliver client training, including:
  • First-time dental plan launches
  • 'Simple switch' transfers from competitor providers
  • Refresher training for existing clients or new practice staff
  • Supporting practices transitioning from NHS to private
  • Ensure all client facing materials (digital and print) are accurate and up to date
  • Work with internal teams to coordinate updates, campaigns, and client requests
  • Identify opportunities for account growth, referrals, and increased engagement
  • Attend industry events and conferences to promote Patient Plan Direct and build market presence
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform client strategy and success
  • Collaborate closely with the wider Business Development team to meet client and company objectives
  • About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring first-hand dental practice experience and a strong understanding of how practices operate day to day.

    Essential:

    • Experience working within a dental practice environment
    • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
    • Confidence working with Practice Managers, Dentists, and clinical teams
    • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
    • Comfortable using IT systems, including cloud based tools, Microsoft Office, and Excel
    • Willingness to learn and retain detailed product and market knowledge

    Desirable:

    • Experience working in a field based role
    • Previous exposure to dental plans or membership models

Job Type: Field based, working from home with regular travel across the South. Occasional extended hours for industry events, client related training or activities, and/or exhibitions.

Salary: Competitive salary with generous uncapped commission and benefits including Income Protection, Life Assurance, Enhanced pension, Health Cash plan, 28 days annual leave + bank holidays, Sick pay scheme, and a range of flexible benefits available through our Agilio Flex portal.
