Role Description:
The Group Financial Controller / Senior FP&A role's key responsibilities include managing group budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing financial monitoring to provide actionable analytics and insights, as well as delivering monthly management accounts and consolidated group reporting. This involves executing multi-entity consolidations and validating underlying reporting schedules alongside performing detailed reviews and reconciliations of the P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and working capital. Furthermore, the role requires comprehensive project financial control, covering revenue, direct and indirect costs, work-in-progress (WIP), project profitability, cost-to-complete, and margin analysis.
Qualifications:
- Strong background in group finance, FP&A, or financial control, ideally from a maritime engineering and /or manufacturing background.
- Proven experience in multi-entity and international environments.
- Excellent analytical, modelling, problem-solving, and accounting skills
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP/accounting systems with a recognized qualification (i.e., ACCA, SIMA, ACA, or equivalent).
