Role Overview
They are seeking a highly capable Control & Instrumentation (C&I) Engineer who delivers. This role is suited to a practical, hands-on engineer with strong offshore and site experience, who takes ownership of work scopes and drives tasks through to completion with minimal supervision. You will be involved across the full lifecycle of C&I engineering activities, working closely with clients, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, real-world engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver C&I engineering scopes across onshore and offshore assets, from concept through to execution.
- Undertake offshore and site-based activities including surveys, inspections, punch lists, troubleshooting, and commissioning support.
- Develop, review, and approve C&I deliverables, including:
- Datasheets,
- Wiring diagrams,
- Cause & effect diagrams,
- I/O schedules,
- Instrument index,
- Loop sheets,
- Specifications and narratives.
Required Experience
- C&I engineering experience in oil & gas, energy, petrochemical, or similar industries.
- Mandatory offshore/site experience, including surveys, troubleshooting, inspections, or commissioning.
- Strong understanding of instrumentation, control systems, safety systems, and hazardous area design.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality engineering work in fast-paced project environments.
- Ability to work independently and get things done without constant direction.
- Clear, confident communicator with experience interfacing with clients and vendors.
- Degree in a relevant engineering discipline (C&I, Electrical, or similar).
