Reporting to the National Sales Director – Telecoms & IT, you will provide expert advice on communication solutions and drive sales within the hosted telephony and Telecoms sector.
Salary: Competitive + benefits and great comms
Working Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday (flexible arrangements welcome)
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Key Responsibilities
- Work with Managed Print Service Account Managers to uncover telecom opportunities.
- Generate appointments via phone and field outreach for telecom solutions.
- Own the full sales cycle – identify opportunities, manage pipeline, and close deals.
- Promote the full portfolio of telecom products.
- Adopt a consultative sales approach to build strategic relationships.
- Produce sales proposals for customers.
- Achieve quarterly sales targets aligned with business objectives.
- Maintain up-to-date industry and competitor knowledge.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in hosted telephony/Telecoms.
- Excellent prospecting skills with high activity levels.
- Ability to generate telecom appointments via telephone, networking, and referrals within a Managed Print Customer Base.
- Proven track record of winning new business.
- Self-starter capable of working independently.
- Comfortable working from office and home environments.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication.
- Experience selling hosted telephony solutions.
- Knowledge of Unified Communications or IT Managed Services (advantageous).
