We are looking to hire an experienced and enthusiastic Installations Operative to join us at our site in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude holding an ability to support the daily warehouse operation and assist in equipment and customer deliveries across in and around Edinburgh.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Picking orders and wrapping equipment for safe delivery.
  • Driving the company van for customer deliveries or collections, always ensuring a professional service to uphold the company’s reputation.
  • Effectively planning routes to maximise the efficient delivery of customers’ orders.
  • Conduct client ‘site surveys’ to ensure safe delivery and collection of equipment.
  • Installation of certain equipment at client sites (training will be provided).
  • Ensure that the warehouse is always clean and tidy, and that waste packaging is removed and disposed of safely and in line with health and safety guidance.

Experience & Skillset:

  • Proven experience working in a warehouse setting would be an advantage.
  • A full clean UK Drivers Licence.
  • Experience of setting up, repairing, or working with electronics (desirable but not essential).
  • A team player with excellent communication skills, attention to detail and prioritises customer care.
  • Works to deadlines and uses initiative.
  • Takes the correct health and safety measures, particularly in respect of manual handling heavy loads.
