AgileSource are looking for an experienced Service Architect to join our team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys designing, shaping, and improving end-to-end service solutions across complex business environments. As a Service Architect, you will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, technical architects, and operational teams to define scalable, supportable, and customer-focused service models. You will play a key role in ensuring that new and existing services are aligned with business goals, operational requirements, and best practice frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and assure coherent, end-to-end Day-1 services across End User Computing (EUC), IT Services, Print, and Insights & Analytics.
  • Define clear service boundaries, ownership models, and operational accountabilities across multiple service domains.
  • Proactively identify service gaps, fragmentation risks, dependencies, and integration challenges that could impact Day-1 service continuity.
  • Work closely with business, technology, operational, and supplier teams to ensure services are practical, supportable, and ready for launch.
  • Create Day-1 service design blueprints that deliver a consistent user experience and clear operational readiness from Day-1.
  • Develop service operating models covering support arrangements, escalation paths, governance, and supplier interactions.
  • Produce business and technology capability gap assessments, identifying risks and prioritised mitigation actions.
  • Provide assurance that Day-1 services are coherent, aligned to agreed principles, and do not introduce unnecessary complexity or post-Day-1 dependencies.
  • Support rapid service stabilisation by ensuring clear transition arrangements into live support.
  • Contribute to continual service improvement by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, service quality, and user experience.
