AgileSource are working with a Professional Services organisation to recruit an ITSM Portfolio Analyst to support the governance and visibility of their delivery portfolio. This position plays an important role in ensuring that all active work is accurately recorded, consistently managed, and clearly visible across the organisation’s IT service landscape.
About the Role
You’ll take ownership of maintaining a reliable and well-structured portfolio view, ensuring project and change activity is properly documented, tracked, and aligned to agreed governance standards. Working alongside the IT Change function and key stakeholders, you’ll help ensure that portfolio information remains current, complete, and actionable.
Responsibilities
- Portfolio Oversight
- Maintain an accurate register of active projects and initiatives within ServiceNow
- Review portfolio entries to ensure they meet defined quality and governance standards
- Monitor progress, approvals, and interdependencies across the portfolio
- Follow up on missing or incomplete information to maintain data integrity
- Assist in coordinating portfolio review forums, including preparation and follow-up
- Capture decisions and actions, ensuring they are tracked through to completion
- Help ensure portfolio data is consistent, auditable, and aligned to agreed processes
- Provide stakeholders with clear and dependable portfolio insights
- Highlight patterns in recurring issues, delays, or data inconsistencies
- Support improvements to portfolio management processes and standards
- Promote good data discipline and governance practices across stakeholders
Experience & Skills
- Working knowledge of ITIL v4, particularly in change and portfolio contexts
- Background in IT Service Management or SIAM environments
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy
- Confident engaging with stakeholders to progress actions and maintain standards
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar tools for tracking delivery activity
- Well organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
