AgileSource are partnering with a Consulting Partner who are seeking an experienced, Security Cleared (SC Cleared) AWS DevOps Engineer to design, build and maintain resilient cloud infrastructure and automation frameworks supporting a range of secure delivery environments.
This role involves ownership of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and deployment automation within security-conscious settings, including work aligned to regulated or government-facing projects.
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in AWS, a solid understanding of DevSecOps practices, and a focus on delivering reliable, scalable, and repeatable solutions.
- Design, build and maintain scalable, secure, and automated CI/CD pipelines using platforms such as GitLab.
- Implement automation across build, test, and deployment processes to ensure reliable and repeatable delivery.
- Apply security best practices, including OWASP principles, throughout the development and deployment lifecycle.
- Deploy and manage containerised applications using Kubernetes or AWS-native services such as ECS or EKS.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability, implementing proactive logging and alerting solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed DevOps practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues across production and non-production environments.
Active Security Check (SC) clearance is essential.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS, including core compute, networking, and security services.
Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Familiarity with Agile delivery environments and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or Solutions Architect certification is preferred.
