We are currently searching for a manager for the EMEA Lab Informatics Specialists team. This position is part of the European Sales Commercial Sales & Application Organization. In this position you will be managing a professional team of Lab Informatic Specialists and oversee the lab informatic business in EMEA. The team works closely with the sales, marketing and support organizations to achieve business goals and maximize customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Manages a team of ~15 specialists in lab informatics to ensure the continued success of the entire Product Line in EMEA.
- Hires and develops a diverse and highly skilled team.
- Being accountable to achieve regional financial targets within the operating budget and headcount targets.
- Identify and work on the opportunities and challenges to continue supporting business growth.
- Maintain & develop the competence of the sales organization.
- Establishes metric/KPI for the team and develops innovative ways to improve process/strategies and increase scalability & efficiency.
- Uses digital transformation to provide efficient and best in class customer interactions.
- Consolidate customer needs & market intelligence on the product line and related markets in collaboration with Product Specialists, Application Engineers and Marketing.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or equivalent (PhD preferred) with a strong focus on the analytical instrumentation market.
- Proficient years’ experience in an Agilent or competitor environment.
- A proven track record of profitable sales projects and market growth.
- Strong drive for growth and success.
- Hands-on, results oriented experience in the creation and execution of successful sales plans.
- Demonstrated track record of influencing multi-functional responsibilities within a global company.
- Willingness to travel (throughout Europe) up to 35% of the time.
- Proficient verbal & written English skills. Another language is an advantage.
