We are currently looking for a Software Engineering Intern to join our outstanding team in Harwell near Oxford for a 12-month placement with the possibility to work from home two days a week. You will be working with our software development team based at the Harwell Science and Innovation Campus. We produce the software that drives Agilent's world class range of Raman spectroscopy products. You will be working on real world full stack projects, coding in technologies such as C#, .NET, Angular, Typescript and others. If you love software, have a positive attitude, and pay attention to detail, we want to hear from you! This opportunity will give you commercial experience of software development in a quality driven cutting-edge company whilst working alongside and learning from a team of dedicated and enthusiastic Software Engineers.
Qualifications:
- As this is an Intern position, you need to be studying a course in an applicable field at University and will be returning to that same course upon completion of the internship.
- Willingness to work as part of a team with a focus on quality that follows modern software development processes.
- Experience in an object-oriented language such as C# or Java.
- Skills in web technologies or AI would be an advantage.
- Initiative and can-do approach to tackling new problems.
