Overview
As AVP, you will lead the AMG Strategy & Program Management Center of Excellence and act as Chief of Staff to the AMG Group President, shaping long-term direction for a market-leading business. You’ll drive annual strategic planning, portfolio management, and operational excellence to align AMG with enterprise goals. The role combines strategic advisory duties with hands-on leadership across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, global environment. You will help scale growth and innovation, ensuring execution and communication with senior leaders. Responsibilities
- Lead the annual strategic planning process for the business group and align with enterprise strategy
- Develop and manage the strategic project portfolio and prioritize initiatives
- Drive operational excellence and implement process improvements across the group
- Serve as Chief of Staff to the AMG Group President, coordinating initiatives and preparing materials
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to direct reports and cross-functional teams
Key requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years in strategy development, strategic portfolio management, program/project management, and/or strategic pricing
- 10+ years of increasing managerial experience
- Experience providing strategic support to senior leadership and managing special projects
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal abilities
