In this role, you enable secure AI adoption across the enterprise by partnering with IT, product teams, and ISRM to design, deploy, and operate AI solutions securely. You evaluate emerging AI technologies and define practical security controls to balance innovation with risk management. You act as a secure AI evangelist, driving secure development practices and governance across AI initiatives. Your work supports cross-functional collaboration to align AI with legal, privacy, and industry standards. This is a hands-on, influencing role at scale with a strong focus on governance and risk.

Responsibilities
- Partner with IT, business functions, and product teams to secure development and deployment of AI solutions
- Perform security assessments and risk reviews of commercial and internally developed AI capabilities
- Collaborate with architects, cloud teams, and security specialists to integrate controls into AI solutions
- Engage in threat modeling, architecture reviews, and security assessments for AI-enabled systems
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and evolving threat landscapes
- Define and mature the long-term AI security strategy, governance framework, and security roadmap
- Coordinate with Legal, Privacy, Compliance, Risk Management, Product Security, and Enterprise Security to meet requirements
- Develop security recommendations for data protection, model security, identity management, access controls, governance, and third-party risk
- Promote secure AI practices organization-wide and contribute to governance forums and strategy discussions
Key requirements
- 8+ years in cybersecurity, information security, cloud/security engineering or related fields
- 3+ years of experience with AI, machine learning, data science, automation, or emerging tech initiatives
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and familiarity with SaaS, cloud services, and emerging tech risks
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, controls, and industry best practices
- Strong communication and stakeholder management; ability to translate risks into practical business advice
