Are you ready to take your sales career to the next level? If so, you might be the person that we are looking for to join our Service Sales team in the UK. We are currently looking for an Experienced Service Sales Account Manager – preferably based with easy reach to the London, Oxford or Cambridge area – to join our team, part of the Agilent CrossLab Group. In this role, you will sell service contracts to assigned accounts in the South East UK territory and manage a sales territory with full accountability.
You will be responsible for maintaining and developing existing contracts and generating new business to reach your financial targets (monthly, quarterly and yearly). This role requires an in‐depth understanding of customer needs to promote solutions that make a difference and deliver results.
Responsibilities- Manage installed base inventory and service contracts to ensure optimal service levels and seamless contract setup.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive growth by designing tailored service solutions that meet customer needs.
- Provide accurate business forecasts for your territory and take full ownership of delivering results.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by leveraging the full portfolio of services to maximize customer value.
- Build and maintain strong, long‐term customer relationships while actively developing new connections to expand market presence.
You will use your commercial expertise to sell solutions consultatively and collaborate closely with the local Field Service organization, the Instrument Sales teams and the other members of the Service Sales team.
Qualifications- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in laboratory product sales, ideally within Agilent's markets.
- Strong negotiation skills across all organizational levels, including occasional engagement with C‐suite executives.
- Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical, Biopharma and Chemical Analysis industry would be a valued asset.
- Excellent networking abilities to integrate customer priorities and influence key internal and external partners.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with leading CRM systems is an advantage.
- Valid driving licence.
