Overview
In this Product Owner role, you define and drive Raman spectroscopy instruments and software from concept to launch. You will translate customer needs into clear requirements, guide development priorities, and align cross-functional teams to deliver valuable solutions. You collaborate with R&D, software, applications scientists, and customers to validate concepts and shape the product roadmap. You will work in a dynamic product marketing environment, balancing technical feasibility with market impact. Responsibilities
- Own product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and development backlogs; translate customer needs into prioritized development activities.
- Guide product definition decisions throughout the development lifecycle.
- Develop deep understanding of customer workflows and unmet needs; synthesize voice of customer, market, and competitive insights; validate requirements via engagement and feedback.
- Serve as the primary interface between Product Management and development teams; align stakeholders on priorities and trade-offs.
- Participate in Agile planning; contribute to business cases, roadmap planning, and commercialization readiness; support successful product launches.
Key requirements
- Bachelor or equivalent advanced degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Life Sciences, or related scientific discipline.
- Strong understanding of laboratory workflows and regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience with analytical instrumentation, scientific software, or related technologies.
- Proven ability to solve complex technical and business problems.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary product development teams.
