Overview
As Product Specialist for LC/MS in the UK+Ireland, you drive the adoption of liquid-phase LC/MS solutions across customer labs. You collaborate with sales, service and marketing to tailor demonstrations, configurations, and value messaging. You lead technical engagements, enable the sales team, and shape market strategy to grow Agilent’s LC/MS footprint. A mix of hands-on labs, customer education, and cross-functional collaboration awaits, with a strong emphasis on differentiation and win-rate improvement.

Responsibilities
- Act as the LC/MS technical and product liaison for customers and internal teams, ensuring the proposed solution is differentiated
- Support opportunities through needs discovery, demonstrations, and quote/configuration support
- Drive technical close by aligning solution fit, workflow value, and product configuration with Account Managers
- Plan and deliver customer presentations, technical visits, workshops, and on-site demos
- Create and deliver technical seminars/marketing-event presentations to raise awareness and opportunities
- Lead product-line strategy execution in-country, including competitive positioning and growth initiatives
- Maintain knowledge of LC/MS competitive landscape and translate it into customer value messaging
- Gather VOC and market insights; feedback to global/regional stakeholders for roadmap alignment
- Lead technical competency development for the sales team and partners (training, positioning, solution selling)
- Provide deal forecasts and insights using Salesforce and other tools; ensure timely reports and follow-ups
Key requirements
- 5+ years in analytical/scientific/instrument industry with strong LC/LCMS exposure
- Hands-on experience with LC/MS systems (Triple Quad, QTOF, Single Quadrupole; added advantage)
- Independent problem-solving with complex customer issues
- Strong understanding of LC/MS workflows and ability to translate needs into solution configurations
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; confident with customers and stakeholders
- Strong cross-functional collaboration with sales, applications, and marketing
- Experience contributing to product launches, customer events, conferences, and workshops
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
