Overview
In this role you drive growth for Agilent’s Chemistries and Supplies portfolio across the UK, focusing on Chromatography and Spectroscopy markets. You will build strategic customer relationships, identify opportunities, and deliver value-driven solutions to Environmental, Food, Chemical, and Academic sectors. You’ll manage sales targets, lead cross-functional projects, and partner with marketing to align messaging. This position offers remote work options and a chance to expand Agilent’s footprint while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities
- Develop and manage customer relationships to be seen as a trusted partner while meeting sales targets
- Identify customer needs and tailor solutions to generate new business
- Own quota within the assigned territory and accounts
- Promote the full Chemistries and Supplies portfolio (HPLC/GC columns, sample prep products, lab supplies)
- Serve as primary contact for customers in assigned accounts and territories
- Lead cross-functional sales projects with technical specialists and product experts
- Collaborate with customers on application development and larger strategic opportunities
- Coordinate with Marketing to align product messaging and campaigns
- Develop and execute account plans to drive revenue growth and footprint expansion
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related scientific discipline
- 2–4 years of customer-facing sales experience selling analytical consumables or related scientific products with a track record of meeting/exceeding targets
- Strong understanding of analytical laboratory workflows in the UK market
- Solid technical knowledge of Chromatography (GC/HPLC), Spectroscopy, and Mass Spectrometry
- Experience supporting Environmental and Food Safety markets
- Strong business development, negotiation, and closing skills
- Experience managing medium to large accounts and introducing established and new products
- Proven ability in strategic account management and territory growth
- Ability to build relationships and communicate with stakeholders at all levels
- Willingness to travel as required (50% of the time)
