About Agilent:
Join Us in Cheadle (Manchester, UK): As a Technical Content and Knowledge Base Intern, you'll support our global project management team with tasks related to Agilent's Community and Knowledge Base. You'll communicate with teams and customers, allowing you to learn quickly and work effectively in a commercial setting. As a valued team member, you'll contribute to strategic projects and daily operations, interacting regularly with peers and team members globally.
What You'll Do:
- Edit articles and videos with technical content for public use.
- Utilise AI technologies to develop streamlined workflows for article review.
- Maintain our internal knowledge base for engineers, covering Chromatography, Mass Spectrometry, Atomic and Molecular Spectroscopy, and Genomics.
- Work as part of a multicultural, international team.
- Help organise internal events and communications.
- Build your personal network by collaborating closely with internal and external partners.
- Support the global project management team with various tasks and projects.
The placement should ideally start in July 2026 at our Cheadle (Manchester) office. Duration up to 12 months in full-time.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a Life Science-related field as part of a 4-year university program (must be completing the second year of the course).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
- Proactive demeanour with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
Desirable but Not Essential:
- Hands-on experience with Chromatography, Mass Spectrometry, Atomic and Molecular Spectroscopy, or Genomic techniques.
- Proven experience in technical writing or a related field.
- Customer service skills.
