Ocho is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to join its Belfast office, offering a flexible hybrid work model. As a key member of the Portal Reports and Insights application team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining distributed, fault-tolerant systems that support the company's global reporting infrastructure. These systems process nearly 10,000 automated reports weekly, serving a diverse client base across multiple continents. You will take ownership of complex technical initiatives, providing architectural guidance and leading end-to-end delivery. Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will possess over 7 years of experience in building and supporting scalable, distributed systems, with a strong background in open-source tools.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Java and C++, along with scripting languages like Python or Ruby, is essential.
- Experience with complex SQL queries, particularly with PostgreSQL, is required.
