About The Role
The HR Advisor position at CMA Recruitment Group offers a unique opportunity to join a well-established professional services organization based in Southampton. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a CIPD Level 5 qualification or be actively working towards it. Previous experience in an HR Advisor or HR Generalist role is essential, demonstrating a solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices. Candidates should have proven experience supporting employee relations, performance management, and conducting investigations. Strong analytical skills are required to interpret HR data effectively and produce insightful reports. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities are key, as well as proficiency in using HRIS systems and maintaining employee data in accordance with GDPR regulations. A proactive, adaptable mindset and a commitment to continuous learning will enable success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for managers and employees, providing expert advice on HR policies, employment legislation, and procedures.
- Support employee relations activities, including managing absences, performance issues, investigations, and wellbeing initiatives to foster a positive work environment.
- Analyze HR data and generate reports to identify trends, support strategic decision-making, and improve HR processes.
- Assist HR Business Partners in various people-focused initiatives such as employee engagement programs, organizational development projects, and process improvements.
- Contribute to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, promoting an inclusive workplace culture across the organization.
- Participate in projects aimed at enhancing the overall employee experience, reducing turnover, and strengthening workplace morale.
