About The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Salesforce Developer to join our team on a contract basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex Salesforce solutions that support our strategic objectives. As a key member of our technical team, you will lead development efforts, mentor junior staff, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable and innovative Salesforce applications. Qualifications

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Salesforce development, with at least 2 years in a Staff or Lead role.
• Expert‑level proficiency in Apex development, including asynchronous processing, triggers, and design patterns.
• Strong experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Salesforce Flow.
• Deep understanding of DevOps practices, including Salesforce DX, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps, and automated testing frameworks.
• Proven ability to design and implement solutions in multi‑cloud environments, covering Sales, Service, and Experience clouds.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to lead technical discussions and decision‑making processes.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
• Relevant Salesforce certifications are preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and customization of Salesforce platforms to meet business requirements and improve operational efficiency.
• Design scalable and maintainable architecture solutions for multi‑cloud environments, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Develop complex Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning Web Components to deliver high‑quality features and functionalities.
• Implement and manage DevOps pipelines using Salesforce DX, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps to automate deployment and testing processes.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure all developments adhere to security, compliance, and quality standards.
• Stay updated with the latest Salesforce releases, features, and industry best practices to recommend innovative solutions.

Benefits

This contract offers a competitive daily rate between £450 and £600, reflecting the level of expertise required. The position is fully remote within the UK, providing flexibility to work from anywhere within the country. The initial contract duration is three months, with the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance.
