About The Role
The company is seeking a Software Developer / Programmer to work on exciting projects as part of an established development team. Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will contribute to the completion of project work and collaborate with experienced software developers throughout the development process.
This position offers scope to build on your current abilities, gain exposure to new skills and develop your career in software development. The successful candidate will bring a creative approach to solving problems, confidence using relevant technologies and enthusiasm for learning. You should be comfortable working with others, sharing ideas and contributing to the delivery of reliable software.
The role is based in the Guildford area. The salary and overall package will be determined according to your experience and will be competitive.
Qualifications
You should have a strong understanding of computer systems and practical knowledge of software development. Experience with the technologies below is important, and the ability to apply them thoughtfully within a team environment will be valuable:
- C# programming
- ASP.NET MVC
- .NET Core
- Angular
- HTML and CSS
- Test-driven development (TDD)

Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, development and completion of software projects.
- Write and maintain code using C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core and Angular, as appropriate to project requirements.
- Work with HTML and CSS to support application interfaces and functionality.
- Apply test-driven development practices to help support the quality and reliability of software.
- Collaborate with experienced software developers, sharing information and ideas to move project work forward.
- Report to the Technical Manager and provide clear updates on assigned work, progress and challenges.
- Take a thoughtful, creative approach to problem-solving and contribute to practical technical solutions.
- Build on existing skills, learn new technologies and apply relevant knowledge to your work.
- Support the successful delivery of project objectives while maintaining a professional and collaborative approach.
