About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst / WMS Specialist to join our dynamic team in Cheltenham. The successful candidate will be instrumental in analyzing operational data, identifying efficiency improvements, and supporting major systems projects, including the implementation of a new Warehouse Management System (WMS). Qualifications

  • Proven experience in data analysis, preferably within logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or supply chain environments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed data mining and trend analysis to support decision-making and operational improvements.
  • Monitor key performance indicators such as inventory accuracy, productivity, service levels, and overall warehouse efficiency.
  • Support root cause analysis by providing data-driven insights into operational issues.
  • Generate regular and ad hoc reports for operational teams and senior management to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline warehouse processes, optimize inventory control, and improve overall operational efficiency.
  • Support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives by participating in process mapping, waste reduction, and workflow optimization projects.
  • Measure and report on the outcomes of improvement projects to evaluate effectiveness and guide future initiatives.
  • Act as a key resource for Warehouse Management System development, supporting requirements gathering, process design, testing, and validation activities.
  • Assist in preparation for WMS upgrades and system implementation, including configuration reviews and operational readiness assessments.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation, procedures, and training materials to facilitate user adoption.
  • Collaborate closely with operational teams, IT professionals, and project stakeholders throughout the system development and implementation lifecycle.
  • Support change management efforts by assisting end-users with system transitions and ensuring smooth adoption of new processes and tools.
