Who We Are:

This is not a traditional operations role. No two days are the same and the right person will thrive in a fast-paced retail environment where ownership, problem solving, commercial awareness and strong execution genuinely matter.

Retail Operations Manager Role:

  • You’ll own the day-to-day operational performance of a group of stores and retail projects, making sure they run efficiently, consistently and in line with agreed standards.
  • Own the day-to-day operational performance of assigned stores and projects.
  • Ensure staffing, stock, logistics and compliance are delivered effectively and consistently.
  • Act as the key operational contact for store-related issues, actions and performance.
  • Monitor operational KPIs including compliance, staffing efficiency, service standards and store readiness.
  • Identify performance gaps and take corrective action to improve delivery.
  • Line manage Operations Executives where applicable, setting priorities and ensuring follow-through.
  • Coordinate inputs from multiple teams to ensure seamless execution across stores and projects.
  • Manage relationships with key operational suppliers including maintenance, logistics and facilities.
  • Support and where appropriate lead the operational delivery of new store openings and activations.
  • Oversee post-launch stabilisation, optimisation and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to improving processes, tools and ways of working across Agile Retail.

What’s in it for the Retail Operations Manager?

  • Fast-growing retail business working with major global brands.
  • High exposure to senior leadership, stores, central teams and retail partners.
  • A role with real ownership across stores, projects, suppliers and operational delivery.
  • Energetic, entrepreneurial culture where pace and accountability matter.
  • Genuine variety across stock, logistics, compliance and new openings.
  • The chance to shape how Agile Retail delivers operational excellence as the business grows.

Company benefits:

  • Dress down office environment.
  • Office gym / communal bar / cafe / dog friendly office / outdoor terrace.
  • Quarterly company bonus.
  • Enhanced paid holiday.
  • Booze bar & snack area.
  • Regular work socials inc summer & xmas parties.
  • Wellbeing allowance.

The role would suit someone who is:

  • Experienced in retail operations management across multiple stores or projects.
  • Highly organised with strong prioritisation skills.
  • Comfortable managing complexity across people, stock, logistics and suppliers.
  • Commercially aware and focused on improving performance.
  • A confident problem solver who takes accountability rather than escalating prematurely.
  • Strong at communicating with stores, central teams, suppliers and senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable leading, coaching or supporting others to deliver.
  • Calm under pressure and able to keep delivery moving at pace.

Part operator. Part problem solver. Part retail delivery engine.
