About You
- Affinity for Collectibles & Brand: A genuine passion for or strong knowledge of trading cards, collectibles and sports memorabilia.
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role, ideally within retail, although we are open to candidates from other sectors. Most importantly, you will be an inspirational and hands-on leader.
- Commercially Minded: Experience working with KPIs and sales targets. Comfortable analysing daily performance, identifying opportunities and motivating your team to deliver against commercial goals.
- Customer Service: You thrive on creating exceptional guest experiences and take pride in ensuring every customer leaves feeling engaged, informed and excited about the brand and products.
- Team Player: A collaborative and positive approach, with the ability to build strong relationships across the team and contribute to a high-performing store environment.
The Role
As a Supervisor at Fanatics’ Global Flagship Store, you’ll play a key role in supporting the leadership team and delivering an exceptional experience for collectors and sports fans. You’ll help lead a passionate team, drive commercial performance and ensure the store consistently delivers the high standards expected of the Fanatics brand.
- People Management: Motivate, support and inspire a team passionate about sports and collectibles, ensuring they deliver outstanding customer service and develop strong product knowledge.
- Customer Experience Champion: Create memorable customer experiences through authentic, engaging and knowledgeable interactions. Use customer curiosity to build brand awareness, encourage loyalty and ultimately drive sales.
- Coaching & Development: Provide on-the-spot coaching and feedback, identify gaps in product or customer-service knowledge and support the ongoing development of the team through regular observation, training and assessment.
- Drive Sales & Performance: Take ownership of daily performance alongside the wider leadership team. Use KPIs, sales data and customer interactions to identify opportunities, motivate the team and consistently work towards exceeding targets.
- Lead by Example: Be a visible and hands-on leader on the shop floor, setting the standard for customer service, product knowledge, commercial awareness and team behaviours.
