Position Summary

Agile Retail is seeking an experienced and results‑driven Area Manager to oversee event and promotional operations across multiple venues within an assigned region. This role is responsible for ensuring the successful execution of brand programs, driving product sales, increasing brand awareness, and delivering against key business objectives.

As an Area Manager, you will lead and support a team of Product Specialists who are directly responsible for event execution, customer engagement, and sales performance. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with strong operational expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & People Management
    • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Specialists across multiple venues to achieve high performance and engagement.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and implement development plans to support growth.
    • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and results‑oriented team culture aligned with company values.
    • Recruit, train, and retain top talent to support ongoing business growth.
  • Event & Promotion Management
    • Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of events, promotions, and product activations within your assigned territory.
    • Ensure all events are executed efficiently and consistently meet brand standards, client expectations, and revenue goals.
    • Troubleshoot on‑site issues, resolve conflicts, and ensure a seamless experience for customers, clients, and internal teams.
    • Identify opportunities to maximize visibility, engagement, and sales impact at every event.
  • Venue Operations & Stakeholder Management
    • Conduct regular site visits to assess event setups, operational readiness, and execution quality.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with venue managers, partners, and key stakeholders.
    • Ensure all activities comply with health, safety, legal, and company operating standards.
    • Drive consistency and excellence across all venues within the region.
  • Sales Performance & Business Growth
    • Track event performance, promotional success, and sales metrics across the region.
    • Provide regular business updates and performance insights to senior leadership.
    • Implement strategies to improve customer engagement, promotional effectiveness, and sales conversion.
    • Drive revenue growth by optimizing event execution and team performance.
  • Reporting, Budgeting & Administration
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, team progress, event outcomes, and operational challenges.
    • Manage budgets, inventory, staffing resources, and promotional materials in a cost‑effective manner.
    • Ensure efficient use of resources while meeting operational and financial objectives.
  • Brand Representation
    • Represent Agile Retail and client brands with professionalism and integrity at all times.
    • Ensure consistent brand messaging and high‑quality customer interactions.
    • Partner closely with internal marketing and client teams to execute impactful product demonstrations and brand activations.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in consumer engagement, promotional marketing, and large‑scale event execution.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in age‑restricted environments.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high‑performing engagement teams.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience managing budgets, expenses, and operational resources effectively.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
