Part Time IFA Client Support/Administrator
You’ll have a strong background in dealing with clients and a passion for helping them work towards a secure financial future. You’ll have experience in an IFA administrator role, preferably dealing with transactions and the online processing of business. You’ll be looking for a firm where you can progress your career in IFA support.
From day one you’ll be supporting the firm’s existing client relationships whilst receiving personal training and support from the firm’s Chartered Financial Planners and wider team.
As part of a small financial planning business with big growth plans, you’ll have the benefit of and opportunity to help shape the firm as it grows, providing input into systems and processes as part of a collaborative team and a forward‑thinking independent business.

Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships, including the scheduling of appointments.
- Deal effectively with queries from clients and other parties through effective communication.
- Process applications resulting from advice given to new and existing clients of the firm.
- Answer the telephone and take information and notes, ensuring that messages are passed to the appropriate individuals promptly if unable to assist the caller with their query.
- Record client communications (written, oral or electronic) including client‑related communications with third parties, in line with company policy.
- Ensure that all files worked on are compliant with our Compliance manual, administration procedures and adhere to internal and external compliance procedures in all aspects of work.
- Liaise with product providers and other third parties.
- Obtain information, quotes, illustrations and product details for analysis.
- Report any breaches or complaints in the first instance to the director.
- Comply with the principles of Treating Customers Fairly and Consumer Duty in all aspects of the role of Administrator.
Team Support/Communication
- The Financial Advisors and Administrators work well together as a strong team, offering assistance to clients irrespective of whether or not the Financial Adviser is available.
- Work together all staff at Agile in furtherance of the company’s development and stated objectives.
- Carry out all reasonable requests of tasks required by the Management Team efficiently and courteously.
Education, Qualifications & Training
- Financial Services Experience is preferred, particularly specific experience in providing administration support for an IFA.
- Financial Planning qualifications are not essential, but preferred.
- The company will cover the cost of exams/training for individuals that wish to complete their exams – internal progression is available and encouraged but not essential.

IT Skills
- Fully competent in desktop applications (proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Intelliflo is our back‑office system – experience preferred but not essential – training offered.
- Use of provider platforms, such as AJ Bell, Aviva, Aegon, Royal London, Prudential.
Personal Skills
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, and to deal with individuals at all levels.
- Teamworking: Ability to contribute as part of a team, and deal with individuals at all levels within the business.

Qualifications
GCSE Grade A to C (or equivalent) Maths and English.
Part or full FPC 1, 2 & 3 or CF1‑5 would be an advantage but is by no means essential.
Working hours
Part‑time applications considered. Minimum 20 hours, flexible around school hours, must be prepared to work Friday. Office based.
Salary
£24,000 – £28,000, negotiable based upon experience.
