Head of Reward - c£85,000 - WFH As the Head of Reward, you’ll partner with HR and business leaders across the organisation to develop and deliver reward solutions that are commercially effective, market competitive and aligned to the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities will include

  • Leading and delivering complex reward projects and programmes across the organisation.
  • Driving compensation initiatives including job evaluation, grading, salary structures, benchmarking and market pricing.
  • Acting as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders, providing reward expertise and constructive challenge.
  • Supporting the ongoing evolution of the organisation’s reward framework and job architecture.
  • Analysing market data, workforce analytics and financial information to support evidence-based decision making.
  • Preparing high-quality papers, proposals and presentations for executive stakeholders.
  • Supporting organisational change, transformation projects and large-scale people initiatives.
  • Ensuring reward programmes balance commercial objectives, colleague experience and affordability.

About You We’re looking for an experienced in-house reward professional who combines technical compensation expertise with strong stakeholder management skills.

You’ll bring

  • Extensive in-house compensation and reward experience.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience of Hay JE
  • Experience implementing or supporting Job Architecture programmes (desirable).
  • Proven success leading and delivering complex reward programmes.
  • Strong commercial acumen and an ability to balance business priorities with employee outcomes.
  • Significant experience partnering with senior business leaders, HR leadership teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Advanced analytical capability, including interpretation of market data, workforce analytics and financial information.
  • Deep expertise in pay benchmarking, salary structures, job evaluation and market pricing methodologies.
  • Experience supporting organisational change and business transformation initiatives.
  • The ability to simplify complex reward concepts and influence stakeholders at all levels.
