We are investing in a high performing Business Development Manager to accelerate the growth of our manned guarding division. This is a genuine opportunity to build a substantial high-value portfolio from the ground up and play a visible role in shaping the commercial direction of a growing security business.

With our head office in Bolton, Agile Guarding Services operates a large-scale team of hundreds across the UK. We deliver manned guarding and wider security solutions across public sector, construction, retail and facilities management environments. Now we are focused on scaling our manned guarding division further across the North of England and nationally.
As the Business Development Manager, you will take full ownership of new business generation:
- Identify and target security opportunities: manned guarding, CCTV towers, and facilities management
- Proactively build your own pipeline through outreach, networking and sector connections
- Engage senior decision makers and develop long term commercial relationships
- Grow and develop the accounts you win to maximise recurring revenue
This is a field-based role with regular in person engagement at our Bolton head office, particularly during onboarding and key planning periods. You are commercially driven and comfortable building momentum from scratch.
Requirements:
- Proven success securing new business within the security or manned guarding sector
- A track record of winning profitable contracts and building recurring revenue streams
- Strong commercial awareness with a clear understanding of margin and risk
- Full UK driving licence, and own transport for use during onboarding period
- Willingness to travel to our Bolton head office as required, 1-2 days per week during onboarding
- Knowledge of CCTV towers, fire or integrated security services would be beneficial but is not essential.
Salary in the region of £35,000 to £45,000 depending on experience, with uncapped commission and realistic OTE up to £90,000 - no ceiling for high performers. Company car and fuel card, with interim car allowance during onboarding. 25 days annual leave rising to 30 days with length of service. Permanent contract, working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Opportunity to build a long-term client portfolio with recurring revenue.
