As a result, we are looking for an Agricultural Sales Support and Demonstrator. This is a dual role which will involve supporting customers with machine installations and set-ups whilst also ensuring the efficiency at the yard at the depot. Ideally you will have either a technological/mechanical background and be passionate about the industry but training can be offered to the right person. Your organisation skills will be second to none and you will be a real people person who enjoys conversing with a diverse customer base. Working efficiently and accurately, you will consistently provide the highest level of support to both the depot and our customers. About the role

  • Supporting our customers with our range of John Deere and other franchised products
  • Demonstrating, installing, and offering general product support along with supporting managing the demo fleet and calendar
  • Perform pre-delivery setup on new, used and demo equipment.
  • Participate in Service Training Certification programs required for the development of skills and knowledge.
  • Optimising performance of machines in cab and introducing customers to the Precision Technology team for an introduction to John Deere Operations Centre where applicable
  • Working closely with the Precision Technology team to ensure optimum support for customers
  • Supports in organising John Deere clinics and other training sessions for customers and dealer personnel.
  • Support both the Service and sales departments with keeping the yard orderly, loading and unloading machines
  • Responsible for the presentation of second hand equipment, ensuring it is presented to a high standard.
  • Manages on-going relationships with key John Deere personnel.
  • Performs any other tasks when required.

  • Strong knowledge of agricultural equipment and operational practices.
  • Familiar with competitive products is a benefit.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.
