Farol Ltd is an extremely successful family‑owned, multisite agricultural and groundcare business. Established in 1977 and now employing over 275 people, we are the market leaders in agriculture, groundcare and homeowner products, holding the market leading John Deere franchise along with many other brands. We are currently looking for an Agricultural Sales Professional to help develop our Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire area.
Responsibilities
- Proactive planning and development of new, prospective and existing business opportunities, including demonstrations, relationship building and structured call activity.
- Maintain a structured approach to visiting all customers within a defined territory, strengthening existing relationships while identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Forecasting machinery sales for the Hampshire/West Sussex area.
- Meeting and exceeding sales targets on focus products set by the sales director.
- Continuing existing business and increasing market share with competitive conversions.
- Using data and technology to drive future business and customer decisions.
- Attending latest product training.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will be a forward‑thinking individual with knowledge of modern agricultural machinery, farming practices and Precision Ag technology. It is also essential that you have excellent IT skills so you can embrace and benefit from our new CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system. Candidate must be familiar with the Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire area.
