Key Accountabilities
- Working as a contractor supervisor on a client's wind farm, daily tasks include:
- Liaising with the client regarding ongoing works
- Preventative planning
- Reporting to the Project Manager
- Organising the workload of the on-site team to meet schedules
- Contractual requirements β which typically include completion of 6- and 12-month maintenance checks, bearing lubrication, functional test and cleaning.
- In addition, returning turbines to service after fault conditions will involve:
- Mechanical and electrical fault finding
- Fault resolution
- Component replacement
- Functional testing β whilst ensuring compliance with HSQE as set, pursuant to the provisions of the client contract and in accordance with RES's policies and procedures
- Controlling calibration of tooling/lifting equipment and inventories
- Reporting the necessary information to support the efficient operations of the HSQE management systems.
