We're currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Agriculture Relationship Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct face to face meetings with Agriculture customers, with up to 80 clients in portfolio.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to these clients.
  • Drive revenue growth through understanding customer needs and by adopting a needs-based approach which engages clients and increases new business.
  • Grow the business sustainably, by identifying opportunities to expand the portfolio and broadening client relationships by leveraging HSBC's extensive network.
  • Learn about the customer's business and industry to promote insights, enrich client conversations and deliver fair outcomes.
  • Conduct pro-active credit risk assessments and customer due diligence reviews.
  • Manage financial crime risk by identifying, assessing, accepting, monitoring and mitigating risk while adhering to HSBC's operational risk standards and policies.

Qualifications

  • A passion for delivering outstanding customer service with a desire to make a difference.
  • Experience of working in Commercial Banking or a similar entity.
  • Agricultural sector knowledge would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge and understanding of commercial credit and lending.
  • Experience of building effective networks and developing trusted relationships.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • An understanding of risk management with experience of ensuring own/others' compliance with our policies and the relevant regulatory processes.

This role will cover Derbyshire and the surrounding area; travel will be expected.
