We are excited to be recruiting an Agricultural Service Engineer Apprentice to join our Engine Farm Workshop team near Ely, Cambs. This is a fantastic opportunity to start your career in agricultural engineering while working with one of the UK's leading fresh produce growers. We are looking for apprentices who want to learn, grow, and help us do what's right for our customers and our business.

What you will be doing

  • Gaining hands‑on experience while collaborating with skilled engineers.
  • Assisting with the repair and maintenance of a wide range of agricultural machinery.
  • Learning how to diagnose and fix mechanical and technical faults.
  • Supporting servicing and repairs in both the workshop and out in the field.
  • Helping with assembly and pre‑delivery inspections (PDI) of new machinery.
  • Using manufacturer software and manuals to support problem‑solving.
  • Working safely and always following Health & Safety procedures.

What we are looking for

  • No prior engineering experience is required – just a willingness to learn, develop and desire to train to become an Engineer.
  • A full UK driving licence (or working towards it).
  • Basic IT skills (Microsoft 365, including Outlook and Excel).
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Resilience and adaptability in a busy working environment.
