Job overview
- Support the Logistics Manager in the delivery of the Materials Management Top Up service to all clinical areas.
- Support the Logistics Manager in the delivery of the Inventory Management Solution to all applicable areas.
- Maintain strong working relationships between Procurement and clinical staff including Ward Managers and Matrons.
- Maintain and support the logging and circulation of Field Safety Notices and MHRA alerts.

- Conduct Materials Management Top Up orders on specified areas as designated by the Logistics Manager.
- Support the ‘put away’ service on those areas to create a closed loop function that provides an end-to-end service.
- Maintain the Inventory Management Solution high value and implantable clinical consumables.
- Support the expansion of the Inventory Management programme to deliver efficiencies and benchmarking opportunities as designated by the Logistics Manager.
- Conduct quarterly ward reviews for all designated Materials Management areas.
- Support the expansion of the Model Ward programme and adhere to Model Ward principles when providing the top up and ‘put away’ service.
