Main Duties of the Job

  • To work within the Stock Control team providing a high-quality professional stock management service to Airedale NHS Foundation Trust and Bradford District NHS Foundation Care Trust.
  • To support the day-to-day running of the service within the Stock Control team.

Person Specification

  • Qualifications: A good level of general education (i.e. English and Maths GCSE). Qualified or working towards Level 2 Procurement or equivalent.
  • Knowledge: Working knowledge of software computer packages, i.e. Microsoft Office. Basic knowledge of Health and Safety in a working environment. Good interpersonal skills, good oral and written communication.
  • Experience: Good analytical skills and mathematical understanding. Customer relations dealing with diverse customer base both face to face and remotely. Experience of teamworking. Experience of working within a general office undertaking administration duties. Experience in a Procurement environment. Experience of stock control via inventory systems. Experience in using a purchase to pay system.
