Make every meal matter. Lead a team that delivers real impact every day. We are looking for a proactive, hands-on Catering Team Leader to support the delivery of safe, high-quality and person-centred catering services for patients, staff and visitors.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and support frontline catering and hostess teams, overseeing the smooth running of daily meal services.
- Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards.
- Manage stock and deliveries, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Work closely with Dietitians and ward staff to keep services running on time and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide clear leadership, motivation and direction to supervisors and frontline catering and housekeeping staff.
- Ensure all food safety, hygiene and legislative requirements are consistently met.
- Oversee the accurate receipt, storage and rotation of all deliveries and stock.
- Complete departmental, service and ward based audits, including PLACE led assessments.
- Manage the day-to-day performance, training and development of catering staff.
- Address customer concerns, service issues and complaints promptly to maintain high service standards.
