Our Housekeepers are part of the Catering Team within AGH Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, and we are now looking for caring, committed, and flexible colleagues to join our current ward based housekeeping team.
The role of Housekeeper is challenging, but very rewarding, and one where you are in the enviable position of being able to take time to speak with our patients, and help with their recovery by offering our hydration and nutritional offering to them. Full Training will be given, including Allergen training, and on all of our meals, there may even be some food tasting.
- Help keep the ward clean and tidy in line with the National Cleaning Standards
- Record fridge temperatures
- Collate patient meal orders via an iPad
- Deliver patient meals and drink services, assisting patients with meal ordering and dietary requirements
- Work as part of a team; be prepared for busy days
Please be aware that our Housekeepers hours are between 0700-2000 7 days a week, 365 days a year, typical shifts are 0700-1330, and 1600-2000, although our shifts do differ due to the service area so flexibility is key.
