AGH Solutions Limited is a subsidiary of Airedale NHS Foundation Trust and provides a range of services to the Trust. We have opportunities for reliable, enthusiastic, people-centred and caring individuals to join our Domestic Services team. You must be 18 years and over to apply for this role.
Main duties of the job:
- In line with National Standards of Cleanliness provide a safe, hygienic environment for patients and staff.
- To communicate effectively with patients, work colleagues and visitors throughout the process of delivery of the service and at all times respecting dignity and confidentiality.
- To carry out all designated cleaning duties in a safe manner using only equipment and materials provided by the department.
- Compliance with policies and procedures.
- Completion of mandatory training and relevant departmental training.
- Uses own initiative when carrying out duties on wards and departments to ensure service is provided and standards are met.

Job responsibilities:
- Completion of work records.
- Work completed in line with schedules and timescales.
- Reports any adverse event to line manager and completes online form.
- Patient satisfaction surveys show no incidents or concerns regarding service.
- No issues raised via PALS.
- To carry out all designated cleaning duties in a safe manner using only equipment and materials provided by the department.
- Compliance with policies and procedures.
- Completion of mandatory training and relevant departmental training.
- Uses own initiative when carrying out duties on wards and departments to ensure service is provided and standards are met.
Person Specification:
Qualifications/Experience:
- Previous experience working with the public/customers.
- Experience of working in the cleaning industry (commercial/healthcare etc.).
- Previous experience of working in a hospital/healthcare/care home environment.
