Main duties of the jobOur Catering Team at AGH Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, is expanding, and we’re excited to welcome a passionate, committed, and flexible Chef (AGHS Grade B) to join us on a permanent 37.5-hour contract. Working 5 days out of 7, on a rota between 06:30 and 20:00, you’ll become an essential part of a friendly, professional kitchen delivering high-quality, nutritious meals for our patients, colleagues, and visitors. Our restaurant and catering services operate 365 days a year, giving you stability, variety, and the opportunity to showcase your skills in a truly rewarding environment.

We are privileged to operate in a beautiful part of the country. The clinical services we support reach far up into the Yorkshire Dales, across the Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven patch. We are also lucky to have excellent transport links to Leeds, Bradford, Manchester and beyond. Leeds city centre is 25 minutes by train from Keighley. We provide a wide range of services, from traditional facilities management and estate maintenance, to sterile services, wheelchair engineering and procurement. Person Specification- Qualifications
- Must have sound numeracy and literacy skills.
- NVQ level 2/3 in Cookery or City & Guilds 706/1/2 OR Equivalent
- Food Safety Level III
- IOSHH
- Food Safety Level III
- Previous catering experience
- Good knowledge and understanding of allergen management.
- Previous experience in production of special diets
- Previous experience working with the public/customers
- Previous supervisory experience
