We’re looking for a Field Service Technician (Power Generators) to join our team in Sutton.

What you’ll do

  • Carry out mechanical equipment maintenance as per work instruction on Aggreko equipment including servicing, systematic fault finding and repairs.
  • Carry out daily, weekly and monthly checks on equipment.
  • Responsible for procedural based failure reporting using paper and electronic systems.
  • To complete and maintain paper and electronic records as per site specifics
  • Assisting with the installation and demobilisation of Aggreko equipment.
  • Aggreko places a strong emphasis on Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental protection. It is a requirement and moral obligation of each employee to be actively committed and accountable for compliance to the Aggreko Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and local legislation, and ensure completion and validity of all minimum QHSE training and objectives required by the company

You’ll have the following skills and experience

  • Qualified / Part-Qualified Mechanic and or Electrician
  • Experience of working with generators or in Power plant environment
  • The ability to use specialist tools and ensuring all tooling is calibrated in accordance with Aggreko standards and local legislation
  • Ability to work autonomously when required with the ability to coach and mentor
  • Good organisational & communication skills
  • Good level of PC literacy including basic MS Office applications
  • Able to manage a client’s expectations when under pressure, regardless of the situation
