What You’ll Do
- Support, develop, and coordinate key project bids and tenders across all sales sectors.
- Take responsibility for tender requirements and coordinate with various departments and customers.
- Produce compliant, professional, and commercially appealing bid responses.
- Organise bid progress meetings, search for new tenders on relevant platforms, and address customer queries.
- Support the UK&I region, working closely with local management and be flexible to support other European countries.
- Prepare and submit Requests for Information, Pre‑Qualifications, RFQs, RFPs, Invitations to Tender, and other customer submissions.
- Attend key customer meetings: bid clarifications, presentations, negotiations.
- Participate in internal sales meetings to promote the Aggreko Bids & Tenders Team.
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong communication and presentation skills with proficiency in English; knowledge of a European language a plus.
- Commercially astute with attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work under pressure independently and as part of a team, managing time for yourself and project teams.
- Knowledge or willingness to understand technical applications of Aggreko’s rental product range.
- Understanding of legal concepts or interest in them.
- Strong IT literacy (Microsoft Office, PDF writer, CRM, tender portals, SharePoint).
- Good people skills and ability to lead by influence.
