We're looking for a BESS Technician based out of our Lomondgate depot.

What you'll do:
- Upon arrival of the fleet, prepare an estimate, determine which parts are needed and draw up an action plan.
- Carry out maintenance and repair work in accordance with company guidelines and/or in consultation with suppliers.
- Testing, detecting and resolving faults and if required, customizing the sets according to customer specifications.
- Provide support for the operational business specifically focused on BESS.
- Keeping track of timesheets, maintenance and work reports.
You'll have the following skills and experience:
- Time‑served Electrical Engineer (SCQF Level 7 / SVQ Level 3 or apprenticeship) with demonstrable hands‑on experience in single‑ and three‑phase electrics, and strong practical knowledge of AC and DC control systems.
- Proven experience maintaining and repairing BESS fleets (Battery Energy Storage Systems) and associated electrical equipment — skilled at fault diagnosis, testing and delivering robust repairs.
- Technically curious and quick to learn: comfortable reading schematics, understanding new products and applications, and applying technical knowledge across diverse systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with clear, professional communication; adept at building relationships and engaging stakeholders at all levels (internal and external) to achieve safe, timely outcomes.
- Safety‑first mindset with up‑to‑date working practices and regulatory compliance; competent in MS Office and PC tools, flexible and willing to travel as required.
